--->The Parable of this Duniya(World)<----





Allah Says,''Know that the life of this world (dunya) is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children… the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment. (Surah Al-Hadid 57:20)

Hadith-1
Sahl bin Sa'd narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:
"If the world to Allah was equal to a mosquito's wing, then He would not allow the disbeliever to have a sip of water from it."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوْ كَانَتِ الدُّنْيَا تَعْدِلُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ جَنَاحَ بَعُوضَةٍ مَا سَقَى كَافِرًا مِنْهَا شَرْبَةَ مَاءٍ " . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .

Allah Says,''Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true, let not then this (worldly) present life deceive you, nor let the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allâh. (Luqman 31:33)

Hadith-2
Dahaak ibn Sufyaan – Radhiyallahu Anhu – who said that the messenger of Allah – Sallallahu Alaihi wa Salam – said to him:” Oh Dahhaak! What is your food? He responded: “Oh Messenger of Allah! Meat and Milk! He said: “Then what happens to it? He said: it becomes that which you know! He said “Indeed Allah has made that which is excreted by the son of Aadam, as an example of the Dunya“

Hadith-3
Ibn Umar – Radhiyallahu Anhu – said: “We were sitting with the Prophet – Sallallahu Alaihi Was Salam and the sun was upon Qu’ayqi’aan (A well-known mountain in Makkah) after asr (i.e. descending to set) so he said: The lifespan of your Ummah in comparison to the lifespan of the previous nations is not except like that which remains of the rest of this day in comparison to that which has past of it“

Jesus, the son of Mary, said:“The example of a person who seeks dunya is like that of a person who drinks (salt) water from the ocean. The more he drinks, the thirstier he gets, until he is killed by it!”

Wahb Bin Munbih said:“The example of the dunya (worldly life) and hereafter is like the example of a man who has two wives. If he pleases one of them, the other one will be displeased”.
[Kitaab Dham Ad-Dunya, 1/119].

"This dunya is like a shadow. If you try to catch it, you will never be able to do so. If you turn your back towards it, it has no choice but to follow you."
